Your account

You sign in with Google or GitHub. Keep that account secure — anyone who can sign in as you can read and export every response you have collected.

What you collect is your responsibility

You decide what your forms ask for and what you do with the answers. That makes you responsible for having a lawful reason to collect it, for telling respondents what you are collecting and why, and for honouring their requests about it.

Do not use Seagit Forms to:

• collect data you have no right to collect
• impersonate someone else, or imply a form comes from an organisation it does not
• phish for passwords, payment details or other credentials
• distribute malware, or break the law where you or your respondents are

We may remove a form or suspend an account that does any of the above.

Storage destinations

If you send responses on to an S3 bucket, a webhook or a spreadsheet, those systems are yours. We deliver to them on a best-effort basis: a destination that is unreachable is logged and skipped, and a submission is never rejected because a destination failed. Do not treat a destination as the only copy of anything that matters.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uptime. We can change or discontinue features. Keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Who owns what

Your forms and the responses they collect are yours. We store and process them so the service works — rendering your form, saving submissions, exporting a CSV, delivering to a destination you configured — and for nothing else. We do not sell response data, and we do not use it to train anything.

You keep the right to export at any time. If you want your account and everything in it deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Respondents are not our users

Someone filling in your form has no relationship with us — they have one with you. If they ask who is collecting their answers, the answer is you. If they ask for their response to be deleted, you are the one who can do it, from your dashboard. Deleting the form deletes every response it holds.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your forms whenever you like. Deleting a form deletes its responses, and that cannot be undone.
