Trade show registration form
A trade show form captures both attendee identity and their interests — which badge tier they are, which sessions or booths they plan to visit — so exhibitors can plan demos and you can plan the floor layout and badge printing. Badge type is a dropdown — attendee, exhibitor, press — so everyone knows their tier from their badge. Sessions of interest are optional checkboxes, letting attendees browse without committing.
The form beside this text is live. Fill it in and submit it — it validates exactly as it would for a real respondent, and saves nothing.
Badge type as a dropdown controls printing and access
Badge type is a dropdown — attendee, exhibitor, press — not free text. One choice per person, and badge printing knows the tier immediately; lanyards and registration entry differ per type.
Session interest as checkboxes, optional and multiple
Sessions are checkboxes so an attendee can pick multiple — keynote AND Hall A AND the networking lunch. A radio or dropdown forces one choice; multiple interests stay together in your export.
No card required.

Live previewHow to build this form
5 steps in the editor. Nothing here needs a paid plan.
- Add text and email fields for the attendee's name and email.
- Add optional company and title fields to track industry mix.
- Add a dropdown for badge type — attendee, exhibitor, press — so badge printing distinguishes roles.
- Add optional checkboxes for sessions or booth areas they plan to visit — Hall A, Hall B, keynote, specific sponsor booths — so exhibitors know how many to expect.
- Optionally add a phone field for exhibitors who want to follow up.

What goes wrong with this form
Specific to a trade show registration form, not general advice about forms.
Free text for badge type instead of a dropdown
Badge type as free text produces "attendee", "I'm just visiting", "exhibitor — we're in hall C". A dropdown with attendee, exhibitor, press is one value per person; your badge printer knows the tier exactly.
Session interest as a radio instead of checkboxes
A radio field forces one session choice per person. Checkboxes let an attendee pick multiple — they want keynote, Hall A, and the happy hour — which is how they actually navigate a show.
No way for exhibitors to find prospects
Sessions of interest fields let exhibitors filter your CSV for everyone registered for their hall. Without that data, they have no way to identify foot traffic or follow up with likely prospects.
Questions about this form
How do I set up a trade show registration form?
Name and email (required), company and title (optional), badge type (required dropdown: attendee/exhibitor/press), sessions of interest (optional checkboxes), and phone (optional). Export to CSV, group by badge type for your badge printer.
Why ask which sessions they plan to attend?
Exhibitors want to know foot traffic — if fifty people registered for Hall A and only ten for Hall C, they'll place their booth accordingly. Checkboxes (not a single-choice radio) let one attendee be interested in multiple halls.
How do we distinguish attendees from press from exhibitors at check-in?
Badge type is the flag. Your badge printer reads the CSV, sorts by badge type, and prints different designs or lanyards per type. That way press and exhibitors stand out at a glance.
